At Sumter Habitat for Humanity, we love to create visual stories both for the families we are partnering with in their homeownership journies, but also with the amazing community supporters who partner with us at our fundraisers. Your impact is HUGE and we want to celebrate that. As such, we love to share all of the fun and positive community impact in action, but we also want to respect your right to having photos, video photography, etc. taken so we ask that you please take a brief moment to review our media release waiver below. 

For good and valuable consideration, the receipt and sufficiency of which I hereby acknowledge, I/we, the undersigned, hereby grant to Habitat for Humanity International, Inc. (“HFHI”), Sumter Habitat for Humanity, Inc. ("SHFH"), and/or its affiliated or related entities, sponsors, and/or production partners, and all their agents and employees, and their successors and assigns, full authorization and the absolute right and permission to record my appearance, performance and voice, other identifying information, and/or biographical information and to use, in edited or unedited form, the results and proceeds thereof in connection with the filming, videotaping, audio taping, or written descriptions of this event.

I/we also grant HFHI and SHFH the absolute right to sell, assign, convey, reproduce, copyright, use or publish
photographic and/or audio reproductions, portraits, or pictures of me/us, motion picture or video tape pictures of me, written descriptions and/or biographical information, in any manner, in any broadcast or non-broadcast media, including electronic computer media, in perpetuity, or in which I/we may be included in whole, in part or in composite, in conjunction with my own or any other picture, product, person or reproduction, in color or otherwise, made through any media at its studios or elsewhere, for art, advertising, fundraising and marketing campaigns benefiting HFHI and SHFH, business or trade, or any other lawful purpose whatsoever.

I/we hereby waive any right that I/we may have to inspect of approve the finished product or the advertising copy which may be used in connection therewith, or the use to which it may be applied. I/we hereby release, discharge and agree to hold harmless HFHI and SHFH, its nominees, designees, successors and assigns, or others for whom they are acting, from any liability of any nature or description by virtue of any use whatsoever, whether intentional or otherwise, from any change that may occur or be produced in the taking of said picture or pictures, in-any processing tending towards the completion of the finished product, unless it can be shown that said use or change is solely for the purpose of subjecting me/we to conspicuous ridicule, scandal, reproach, scorn and indignity.
