Gingerbread House Contest Registration
Get creative. Get festive. Build something sweet!
Put your decorating skills to the test in the Sumter Habitat for Humanity Gingerbread House Contest, part of this year’s Gingerbread Gala! Whether you’re a first-time builder or the reigning gingerbread champion of your family, this amateur contest is all about creativity, holiday fun, and supporting a great cause.
Registration is $30 and includes the official gingerbread house kit that must be used for your entry. A complete list of contest rules will be emailed to registered participants.

Your creation will be judged by a panel of Sumter celebrity judges, with prizes awarded for 1st, 2nd, and 3rd Place!
Then, join us at the Gingerbread Gala!

Invite your friends, family, co-workers, and biggest fans to the Gala to see your creation on display and help you compete for the People’s Choice Award! Guests will have the opportunity to vote for their favorite gingerbread house, and contest winners will be announced during the evening.
Prizes will be awarded to our winners!
The Gingerbread Gala will be a festive evening featuring appetizers, drinks, music, holiday fun, and more! Tickets to the Gala are available by clicking here, so gather your friends, family, and co-workers and make a night of it.
Best of all, your participation helps build a stronger Sumter. All proceeds from the Gingerbread Gala and Gingerbread House Contest support Sumter Habitat for Humanity and our work to create affordable housing, build accessibility through the Richardson Ramp Program, and develop Senior Cottages for older adults in our community.
